We collect the data you provide when you place an order or contact us. Mandatory fields are indicated as such.

Storage of bank details
To improve your shopping experience, we offer the option to save your bank details, meaning you won't need to enter them each time you place a new order. We only store your bank details with your consent. Therefore, your bank details (card number, expiry date and cardholder's name) will only be stored if you have given your prior consent. We will never store the visual cryptogram on the back of your credit card. You can let us know at any time if you no longer wish us to store your bank details by sending an email to info@trianglehifi.com. Your bank details will then be deleted from our databases.
Right to object
Insofar as we process personal data as explained above in order to safeguard our legitimate interests, which prevail when balancing the respective interests of the parties, you may object to such processing with effect for the future. If processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes, you may exercise this right at any time as described above. If processing is carried out for other purposes, you only have the right to object on grounds that arise from your particular situation.
After you have exercised your right to object, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes, unless we can justify compelling legitimate grounds for such processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing is involved in asserting, exercising or defending legal rights.
This does not apply if the processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes. We will then no longer process your personal data for this purpose.
Privacy Policy for TRIANGLE Mobile Applications

This section of the Privacy Policy applies to the mobile applications TRIANGLE CAPELLA and TRIANGLE AIO, published and operated by TRIANGLE Hi-Fi.
TRIANGLE Hi-Fi is committed to protecting the privacy of users of its mobile applications. This section explains what information may be accessed or processed when you use TRIANGLE CAPELLA or TRIANGLE AIO, why this information is required, and how it is handled.
1. Purpose of the applications
TRIANGLE CAPELLA and TRIANGLE AIO are companion applications designed to configure, control and interact with compatible TRIANGLE audio products.
Depending on the application and the connected product, features may include:
- detecting compatible TRIANGLE devices on the local network;
- configuring a speaker or audio system;
- connecting a compatible product to a Wi-Fi network;
- controlling playback, volume and audio settings;
- selecting audio sources;
- managing groups, rooms or compatible connected devices;
- accessing product settings and firmware-related functions;
- allowing users to select and play compatible local or online audio content.
2. Data and device permissions
To provide these features, the applications may request access to certain information or device functions.
Local network and Wi-Fi information
The applications may access information relating to your local network, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, local IP addresses or compatible devices available on the same network.
This information is used to discover, configure and communicate with compatible TRIANGLE audio products.
Where possible, this information is processed locally on your device or within your local network and is not used for advertising purposes.
Location permission
On certain versions of Android, access to nearby Wi-Fi devices or network information may require a location-related permission.
If requested, this permission is used only where technically necessary to discover, connect to or configure compatible audio devices. TRIANGLE does not use this permission to track your movements or for advertising purposes.
Bluetooth / nearby devices
Where supported by the application or product, Bluetooth or nearby-device permissions may be used to detect, identify, pair with or configure compatible TRIANGLE devices.
Photos, media or files
If an application allows you to select or play audio content stored on your mobile device, it may request access to media files or storage.
Such access is used only to provide the requested media playback or selection functionality.
3. Personal information
TRIANGLE CAPELLA and TRIANGLE AIO are primarily intended to operate and control compatible TRIANGLE audio equipment.
Unless expressly required by a particular feature, TRIANGLE does not require users to provide personal information such as their name, postal address or telephone number in order to use the core device-control functions of the applications.
If a user voluntarily contacts TRIANGLE support, submits a request, creates an account through an integrated service, or uses a feature involving a third-party service, additional information may be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy terms.
4. Technical and diagnostic information
The applications may process limited technical information necessary for their operation, such as:
- application version;
- device type and operating system version;
- network status;
- model or identifier of a compatible TRIANGLE product;
- connection or configuration status;
- technical error or diagnostic information.
Where such data is transmitted to TRIANGLE or a technical service provider, it is used for purposes such as application operation, troubleshooting, security, compatibility and product improvement.
TRIANGLE does not sell this information.
5. Third-party services and SDKs
The applications may rely on third-party technologies, libraries, software development kits or services that are necessary to provide certain features, such as network connectivity, audio streaming, device discovery, crash reporting or access to third-party music services.
When a user chooses to use a third-party service, that service may process information in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms.
TRIANGLE does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party services selected by the user.
Any personal or sensitive information processed through third-party software integrated into the applications is handled only for purposes necessary to provide the relevant functionality, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
6. Data sharing
TRIANGLE does not sell users' personal data.
Information may be shared only where necessary:
- with technical service providers acting on behalf of TRIANGLE;
- with services explicitly selected or enabled by the user;
- to maintain the security and proper operation of the applications;
- to comply with applicable laws, regulations or legally binding requests.
Where service providers process information on behalf of TRIANGLE, they are expected to handle that information only for the agreed purpose and with appropriate security measures.
7. Advertising
TRIANGLE CAPELLA and TRIANGLE AIO do not use personal or sensitive user data for targeted advertising by TRIANGLE.
8. Data security
TRIANGLE applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal and sensitive information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
Where personal or sensitive information is transmitted over external networks, appropriate secure communication methods are used where applicable.
Users are also responsible for maintaining the security of their mobile device, Wi-Fi network and any third-party service credentials they choose to use.
9. Data retention
Information processed locally by the applications generally remains on the user's device or within the user's local network for as long as required by the relevant functionality.
Where technical, support or diagnostic information is transmitted to TRIANGLE or its service providers, it is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised in accordance with applicable legal and operational requirements.
10. Account and data deletion
If TRIANGLE CAPELLA or TRIANGLE AIO does not require the creation of a TRIANGLE user account, no TRIANGLE account needs to be deleted in order to stop using the application.
Users may remove locally stored application data by using the device operating system settings or by uninstalling the application.
If a TRIANGLE account or another account-based feature is introduced or used, users may request deletion of the relevant account and associated personal data in accordance with the applicable service terms and legal requirements.

11. Children's privacy
TRIANGLE CAPELLA and TRIANGLE AIO are not specifically directed at children.
TRIANGLE does not knowingly use these applications to collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling purposes.

TRIANGLE may update this Privacy Policy when the applications, their features, applicable regulations or data-processing practices change.
The most recent version will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.
